- Beginning March 2024, due to the Digital Services Act (DSA) in the EU, there is a new requirement in App Store Connect that an account needs to indicate if they are a "trader" or not. "The DSA defines a trader as "any natural person, or any legal person irrespective of whether privately or publicly owned, who is acting, including through any person acting in his or her name or on his or her behalf, for purposes relating to his or her trade, business, craft or profession." Please review more information about trader requirements. If you plan to only offer your app outside of the EU then this may not apply to your organization.
