You can optionally display a Title Bar at the top of your InstantGuide programs. Including the Title Bar will give you:
- Branding: Customize the colors. Add text or a logo.
- Navigation buttons:
- Back button: Displayed on the left after the user first navigates to another page.
- Program Home button: Displayed on the right if a user is on a nested page in your program. Takes the user back to the program's home page.
- Program listings button: Displayed on the right if a user is on the program home page and they came from the program listings page. Takes the user back to the program listings page.
How to customize
The Title Bar can be customized in the "Design" settings.
- Log into your InstantGuide account.
- Click the "Design" option in the menu on the left.
- Update the fields in the Title Bar panel:
Show Title Bar: Check this option to enable the Title Bar. If you do not wish to include a Title Bar, uncheck this option. The Title Bar is "global" - it will appear on all your programs.
Background Color / Foreground color: Choose the background and foreground colors that match your branding.
Branding: Text: Select this option to include text in the Title Bar. Does not support HTML. If you want something beyond plain text use the "Branding: Image" option (see below).
Branding: Image: Select this option to display a logo in the Title Bar. We recommend using a png file with transparent background for best results. The image will be scaled to fit with a height of 40px. - Click the "Save" button.
Once you Save, the navigation will automatically be added.
