You can utilize your digital program book to assist with Accessibility in new ways. This digital technology allows you to reach individuals that may be visually impaired, hearing impaired or dyslexic that printed programs could not.
Alt Text
You can easily add a text description in the Alt Text field for any uploaded image. This will assist patrons that have screen readers on their mobile devices or computers. The screen reader renders text and image content as speech or braille output.
Increase Font Sizes
You can increase font sizes by using HTML header fonts. Add header HTML in your text fields, such as <h1>Text Here</h1>
Lower numbers after "h" will result in larger font size and higher numbers, such as 4 or 5 will result in smaller font sizes.
Example from DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, left: without HTML header fonts and right: with HTML header fonts
Audio & Large Print Availability
If you offer any audio descriptions or large font options, include that in your digital programs.
Example from Plan-B Theatre
Accessibility Services Available
Include information about the different accessibility services you offer at your venue and include it in your digital program. You can link it directly to your accessibility website page.
