How do I set-up Google Analytics for InstantGuide?

If you haven't set-up InstantGuide with your Google Analytics and want to track your data, then it's easy to set-up. Once you have set this up then you can chart your program's views, duration, clicks, and more. 

Create Google Analytics Property

1. In your Google Analytics account, you will need to create a Property for the Account URL.
   You can put dpb-web.instantencore.com as the domain.
   Be sure you create GA4 property.
2. Add your Measurement ID to your InstantGuide control panel under the Settings tab and click Save.

2. Set up custom dimension

Add a custom dimension for "link_url" to make it easier to get reports on links that users click.

1. In your Google Analytics Property go to the Admin page by clicking on the gear icon at the bottom of the page on the left.
   
2. Under your property settings select Custom Definitions.
3. Click the Create custom dimensions button.
4. Fill in these values:
   Dimension name: Link URL
   Scope: Event
   Description: leave blank or put in your own optional description
   Event parameter: link_url
5. Click Save.
